{"id":343,"date":"2014-10-16T08:53:52","date_gmt":"2014-10-16T08:53:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theagostins.com\/?p=343"},"modified":"2014-10-16T08:53:52","modified_gmt":"2014-10-16T08:53:52","slug":"were-safe-and-sound","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rickagostin.com\/?p=343","title":{"rendered":"We&#8217;re safe and sound!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Many of you have probably heard about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/blogs\/thetwo-way\/2014\/10\/15\/356370559\/12-trekkers-killed-in-blizzards-avalanche-in-nepals-himalayas?utm_medium=RSS&#038;utm_campaign=npr\">horrible blizzard and accompanying avalanches<\/a> that have killed a number of trekkers, porters and guides on the Annapurna Circuit. <\/p>\n<p>We want to let everyone know that, while we were just there a couple days ago, we are safe, made it out before the storm and are no longer in the region effected. Our blog on the other hand (due to a general lack of Internet on the circuit) is still a week or so behind.
